Roll Call (Holla) and Breaking Dawn Casting Call Revisited

*crickets chirpping*

Is anybody here?

Will the twihards who are
NOT going to Forks please stand up?!

I know there are at least a few
other unfortunate souls out there.
We must stick together!
There is safety in numbers.
It's probably going to feel a
bit lonely around these parts
for a few days while the
majority of our Rob-lovin' friends

The good news for those of you
who are still around
is that we're having a couple of giveaways!!
You know what this means right?

It's simple mathematics.
Less Twihards + Less Entries = a better chance for you to win

On Monday we started a giveaway
for these lovely prints that Trix scored while in NYC.

All you have to do is comment
your preference on Monday's post.
That giveaway ends tomorrow!

It's my birthday on Friday,
and I actually love to give
better than I like to receive.
So, we're giving away at least a few
of these FABULOUS
Rob/Edward/Twilight coffee sleeves.
My two biggest obsessions all rolled into ONE.

Again, it's simple mathematics.
Rob/Edward/Twilight + coffee/Starbucks = Tess♥

On to Breaking Dawn breaking news,

Irina has been cast!
Maggie Grace has signed on for the role.
If you're a fan of Lost,
you might remember her from
the first couple of seasons.
She played Shannon Rutherford.

I think she's really pretty.
She is similar to what we had suggested
in our Breaking Dawn Casting Call post.
The names that we had tossed around were
Amanda Seyfried
and Tricia Helfer.

She's beautiful, blond, and has a fair complexion.
I think they got it pretty right.

Also, floating 'round the rumor mill
is the name Mackenzie Foy
for the role of Renesmee Cullen.
She's such a beautiful little girl.
A few pictures we've seen of her
make us think she might be
too old for the role.
However, this one that I found today
kinda makes me think she could pull it off.

What do you think?

Remember to enter the giveaway from Monday!

Hope you're all having a great week so far!

Mockingjay Reading Group-Week 4

Welcome to the FINAL week of the Mockingjay discussion!

Thank goodness.

Seriously, people. I don't know why, but this has been the hardest book discussion. I've struggled each week to keep posting. I love the Mockingjay, so don't get me wrong. I love this book series so much that I have a tattoo to prove it. LOL. That's how I roll.

So, I don't want to take up a whole blog post summarizing the last 10 chapters. We've all read the book. We know how it ends. Katniss kicks ass once again. She however does not kill Snow like she says she's going to, she kills Coin. Snow gets what he deserves, a slow miserable death.

A few final discussion questions.

What was your reaction when Katniss agreed to the continuation of The Hunger Games? Were you already on to her...did you foresee what was coming? How did you feel when she stepped up and drew her arrow? Did you think it was headed straight for Snow's head or had you already guessed how it would end?

What about the fact that Katniss and Peeta end up married with children and living in District 12? Love it? Hate it? Did you hope there would be a different ending?

I LOVED the way the book ended. When I started reading, I was still on the fence a bit about who I wanted Katniss to end up with, but as the story unfolded, I realized that it was Peeta. In Twilight terms, Peeta was her Edward and Gale was her Jacob. I was really happy that Gale lived. It helps me deal with the end of the book. In my mind, I can visualize Gale being a career military man, who is happy with his life. I always like to keep the story line going in my head. I was really sad that Prim died. I knew someone would die, but I was hoping it wouldn't be her. The way that Haymitch just went back to being himself was some what of a disappointment, but also expected. I had kind of wished that he would have changed a bit...maybe married Effie or something crazy like that. All in all, I was happy with the ending. Well, I'm never actually happy when one of my favorite series ends, but I was content with the outcome.

If you're looking for something else to read that is along the same line as the Hunger Games, you might try The Maze Runner by James Dashner. I read this book last year after I finished Catching Fire and loved it! The second book, The Scorch Trials, is coming out next month. I read on his blog that he's already finished the first draft of the third and final book, The Death Cure.

Trixie started reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.  She told me that it's really good, so I picked it up Friday night.  I haven't started it yet, but plan on catching up on my reading soon!  Trix seems to think that my next tattoo will be a dragon.  Hmmm.  I guess I'll find out soon!

What are you currently reading?

Don't forget about entering our Giveaway for the Edward and Jacob prints!  Go HERE!  We'll announce the winners for these on Thursday and we'll have another giveaway starting Friday!!

Empire State of Mind--I'm Baaaack

Hey, Ladies!  I'm back form the city that never sleeps!  I had the most wonderful time of my life and am itching to go back as soon as I can.  My only regret...I didn't have time to visit The Precious while I was there.

I was soooo close.  The museum was right by Times Square where I was staying.  Even though I don't think the wax figure is a good representation of His Hotness.  I would have liked the chance to check out his *achem* girth.  You know, see how tall he is, skinny he is, etc. etc.  But alas, that will have to wait until next time.

To keep myself from spriraling into the depths of post-vacation depression...we are having a NYC giveaway!  I was able to find some beautiful pics from a street vendor to give to you our faithful readers.  I had a hard time finding Twilight related things.  The street vendor told me Twilight is not as popular as it used to be. *Tear*.  He said the Biebs is taking over.  At least on the streets of NYC.

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post and indicate your preference for Edward or Jacob.  It's that simple.  We will announce the winners on Thursday.

Also, we will be having another giveaway later on in the week for Tess' Birthday!  So be prepared to leave her some birthday love!

Mimi Tells ALL About FORKS!

Hey fellow awesome TNT followers!!
Guess what?
My friend Jessica and I recently visited Forks, WA.
We centered our trip on the Stephenie Meyer/Bella's Birthday Weekend!!
Now. If you don't understand the significance behind this small town, or if you didn't even know it was a town, then I ask you what the heck you're doing here anyway?! **stamps foot. waits for excuse...**
Anyway, if you follow me, you know about our trip already. I did 2 posts on it. What. Only 2?! Well. Yes, only 2. Why? Because, believe it or not, not all of my followers give a crap about Twilight related news. Pffft!
I know. **gasp!**
If you want, you can go look at em after you read this one!
First post. Fun in Forks.
I know, I was on a really creative spurt there when I titled those bad boys.
While in Forks and on our Dazzled By Twilight Breaking Dawn tour, I saved some snippets of info in the back of my mind, specifically for Tess. Because I knew she'd love it.

In no particular order, here are the things that I gleaned from my neighboring state to the north. (duh, that means i live in oregon, dude.)
1. In the books Stephenie Meyer creates the whole tension between Edward and Jacob by using the legends of the Quileute tribe. The tribe turns into werewolves to guard against vampires. This was based on a true legend that the Quileute's share to this day. The actual Quileute tribe claims to be descended from wolves. Although they weren't specifically guarding against vamps in the old days. They were guarding against anything that may harm them. Which, who knows? They thought they could turn into wolves for real, so they must have thought some crazy crap was after em, right?
2. Stephenie Meyer did in fact visit Forks for material gathering trips. She based many of the places read about in the books on real life places in Forks. Although she never names her exact locations that she used.
3. La Push was actually not called La Push to begin with. It is said that when white man first came upon it, they said, "la bouche!" Which translates into the "mouth". This was then infused with Chinook Jargon (northwestern indian tribe and their speaking habits, basically) and somehow because La Push. I think it's because us non natives came along and said, "Oh, yeah, la push!" You know. Because we are so classy and like to take the romanticism out of everything. Of course, when you think about it, the "mouth" really isn't that classy to begin with.
if you look at the layout of the land up there, you can see why they compared it to a mouth. i guess.
4. The Quileutes do not have that guttural "u" sound like we use in English language. You know, the "u" sound in "ugh" or "done." But they do use a short "u" sound in certain words and they are almost non sounds. Which makes no sense at all whatsoever but let me share this with you to help you understand. Maybe. The Quileute word for chipmunk is: mbutsmbuts. Not sure about the spelling there, but it's pronounced:
mmmbutts mmmbutts. Really fast. Mmmbuttsmmmbutts. With the "u" not even really the "uh" sound. Just sort or a space keeper between the consonants.
Lets all say it out loud now, it's fun: mmmbuttsmmmbutts.
It's fun, right?!
Okay, whatever.
I think it's fun. I try to incorporate it into every day language at least once a day now.
5. This is just an "in my opinion" thing. If you go to Forks, you need to take the extra time to go to Port Angeles. You know, the town where Bella and Edward first eat at the little Italian restaurant. It's just a gorgeous city on top of the fact that a lot of the scenes in the books did take place there. (also, if you want to eat at the restaurant, you have to know they don't open until 4 pm. so don't go sauntering up thinking you're gonna get in with no problems at 2 pm. cuz you won't. not that i would know anything like this. btw: there's an excellent chinese food place up the block.)
6. There's a good possibility you'll run into one of the characters! They have look alikes wandering around the town and businesses. A lot of them work at the Dazzled By Twilight store. James works in the tshirt section! And, be sure if you go there to go to the back of the store where they have highschool lockers for Bella, Alice, Edward, etc. Look in Edwards locker and you'll find the "golden onion." If you don't remember where that reference comes from, I don't even know who you are.
7. Right before he was going to kiss Bella in New Moon (and the phone rang and interrupted them), Jacob says this in Quileute: Kwop kilawtley. There are tons of "rumors and theories" about what this means, but our tour guide confirmed that it does, in fact, mean "Stay with me forever."
Everybody now: AAAAAWWWWW!!!! (except for me, i'm saying, 'okay, jacob, okay!')
Okay, so I'm reading over this post and I'm thinking, "Geez, you bored everyone with some stupid stuff that nobody cares about. They prolly wanna know about the size of unders that Rob wears and things like that. You should lie to them, tell them something really interesting but fake."
In fact, you may get the idea that I'm Team Jacob.
And. Yeah, you'd be right.
Alas, I can't lie. I can only tell you this:
I guess...? There is a legend of a hawt young Quileute tribe member (jacob) who was in love with this lame chick (bella) and then this cougar-ish sahm came to Forks one weekend in September (me; duh) and the hawt young guy could smell her alluring rose-like scent (hello, he has super sniff powers with his wolf self) and became obsessed with her and followed her home and loved her and hugged her and petted her and called her george for the rest of her life.
Isn't that almost unbelievable?!
I know, right?!
If you've stayed with me this far, even though I'm rambling like a fool...I do have a treat for you.
Our tour guide told us that Stephenie Meyer just confirmed that she will finish and publish Midnight Sun.
Know why??
Because her momma is her biggest fan and has been relentlessly harping on her to just do it!
This may be the only time in the history of...whatever...that we can say,
"Thank you for harping mommas!!"
Please tell me you didn't know that. Or I'll feel like a dork.
Thank you for sticking with my rambling guys!
And a huge thank you to Trixie and Tess for having me!!
ps: there is only one chain type restaurant in Forks. Subway. so plan on going to the Thriftway (which happens to be the grocery store connected to the sporting goods store where Bella worked in the books and movies. The sporting goods store is actually Ace Hardware.) or driving to Port Angeles for grub.

IRWTSMN - Methods

What is your method?

The answer to that question is not
from behind,
or reverse cowgirl.

We're talking about your dieting method. Duh.
The awesome part about the IRWTSMN™ diet is that everyone can do it in their own way.  You can be a Weight Watcher, a Jenny Craiger, or a Nutrisystemer (Although, I do NOT recommend this method. Been there, done that.  Burned the evidence.).  You may just be counting calories or just making healthier choices.  You may not be "dieting" at all.  You may just be one of those who need to tone up.
(We hate you.  I kid.)
What it boils down to is that you pick what is right for you!

So, tell us what your method is.
Also, let us know what you think so far.
How are things going?
How many times have you asked yourself what IRWTSMN™?

Here's a little motivation for you this week.

We even have a fill in the blank for you.

Mockingjay Reading Group-The Assault

Welcome back to the
Mockingjay Reading Group!

This week we're discussing

These reading group posts can get really long,
so I'm going to try to keep it

The Assault takes place during chapters 10-18.
During the first few pages, Katniss is giving a recap of what happened in the room when Peeta sent out his warning to District 13.  You can feel her pain as she realizes that Peeta is being beaten for his actions.

The alarm is sounded and everyone heads down
...down...and further down into the bunkers of District 13.

Side Note:
Has anyone read Steph Meyer's book The Host?
It's another huge favorite of mine and as I was reading The Mockingjay and learning about District 13, I couldn't help but make parallels to District 13 and the cave that is told about in The Host.

Back to Mockingjay.
As everyone makes their way down into the bunker, Katniss realizes that Prim and Gale are no where to be found.  She rushes up to the big stone walls being cranked close and she demands them to hold the doors open.  She yells out for Prim...and from a distance, she can hear Prim and Gale calling back.  Moments after they make it into the bunker, the first bomb hits District 13.
Peeta had been right.
What will happen to Peeta?
Prim helps Katniss come to the realization that Snow is going to do whatever it takes to break her.
She mulls that over...wondering what will it take to break her?
Finnick and Katniss bond over their common ground...Peeta and Annie are both at the mercy of the Capitol and Snow.  Katniss knows that the Capitol is using Peeta to fight against her.  Snow believes that breaking Peeta means breaking Katniss.

How did you feel at this point?
Did you feel like Peeta would make it out alive
knowing that Snow was using him against Katniss?
How about Annie?

After the bombings subside, Katniss is taken out to film footage of her and District 13.  To prove that they are still alive and well.  Katniss has a meltdown.  She wakes up a day later to find out that Plutarch was sending a rescue team and guess what?  Gale was part of the team.

Do you feel that back and forth tugging on Katniss?  Save Gale.  Save Peeta.  Save Gale.  Save Peeta.  Poor girl.

I don't want to recap the next few chapters, because I'm sure I would hit some sort of word limit on Blogger.

Peeta comes back...and he's alive, but he's not the Peeta Katniss last saw a month and a half earlier in the arena.  He's been "hijacked" by the Capitol.

One of my favorite parts of the next couple of Chapters is finding out about Finnick's secrets!  Wasn't that fabulous?!  I loved that he could hit them where it hurt.  He was able to shed a lot of light on President Snow and his behaviors.  It was interesting to find out that part of the revenge was for Haymitch, for him beating the arena...and making a fool of Snow and the Gamemakers.

How bad do you feel for Katniss when she FINALLY sees Peeta and he tries to kill her?!
My heart was once again broken for her.  I think I cried a little on this part. I could just feel her anguish.  Especially after seeing the happy reunion between Finnick and Annie.

Over the next few chapters, they try to get Peeta un-brainwashed and they begin training the soldiers, including Katniss and Gale, for the Assault.

Next week we'll discuss THE ASSAULT.

Talk to us!
Tell us what you think!
Opinions, feelings, any "side notes" of your own?

Trading Places

Excuse me, but I would like to trade places with

this boy,

and that bag,

and this girl,

but mainly this girl.

Sorry for not having the Mockingjay reading group up, but I'm a major blogging fail this morning. I'm short of coffee, time, and adult ADHD is kicking in and I can't seem to finish the stupid post. So, it'll be up later today or in the morning. I know you are all sitting on pins and needles waiting for it, so my apologies. =P

So, you might ask yourself

Hopefully, KStew will make an appearance to see the 'rents.

Bloggin, Babies, and Butts

I can smell the weekend.  Can you?  It smells like heaven...or Rob on the days that he showers.

Trix is probably taking in a Broadway show today and eating hot dogs from a street vendor named Vinny.

I was going to write a Men of Twilight post for today, but I ran out of time.  It's time consuming looking for HOTT sexy pictures and digging up's a lot like work.  Frankly, I don't want to work today.

So, I'm going to be a repeat offender.  Yep, pulling out some posts from the TNT vault.

Have you checked out the tab in Blogger that says "Stats"?  It is quite interesting.  It will tell you how many people visit your blog each day.  You can even find out what blog post has had the most views.  I was playing around in there earlier this week and came to this crazy ridiculous finding.

Did you know that the MOST viewed blog as of today on TNT is:

This One Is For Team Jacob (achem...Mimi)

Can you believe that?  Here we are running a blog that is mostly about His Hottness, Rob Pattinson, and the most viewed post to-date is about Taylor!  Something is wrong with that.  Don't you think?

Another post that has had a lot of traffic over the last few months was written by Trixie and it is titled
This one is definitely a favorite of ours.  I can definitely understand why people would want to read about Trixie's desire to be Rob's baby's momma.  I share those feelings with her.

One of mine and Trix's personal favs and the third most viewed post is
If you want to get a glimpse into our minds and the way we think.  This is the blog to read!

I hope you enjoy these posts from the vault.

Remember to play along with our

IRWTSMN post from yesterday!

(We have a Mr. Linky up on yesterday and today's posts for you IRWTSMN posts!!! Link up!)
Also, there is still time to enter our giveaway for this:

You know you want him!
All you have to do is comment on any of our blog posts this week AND be a follower!

Have a super fly weekend!

Trixie and Tess Tell All

Welcome to the first installment

If you missed the post from last week explaining what IRWTSMN™ means, then click HERE to get caught up!

The idea is that each week we'll post some questions, tips, recipes, and ideas on how to decrease your voluptuousness (i.e. lose weight, inches, etc., etc.)

To make it more fun,
we would like you guys to join in!
Just snag our delicious button up top,
take it over to your blog,
write up a post about the weekly topic,
insert the button into your post,
and come back and tell us about it.
We'll create a list of IRWTSMN™
blog posts and link everyone up.
If there is enough response,
we'll have a Mr. Linky
up for future posts
to make linking up easier.
Then, we'll all get around
to each other's blogs,
read what everyone has to say,
and comment!

This weeks topic is:  What are your goals?

Goals are so important.
If you just blindly go into an
endeavor without a goal,
you'll never reach the end
or have something to work toward.

Since Trixie is in THE BIG APPLE
I'll answer this one for both of us.

Trix and I are so much alike.
We both want to have Rob's babies.
We think it would be easier if we
could just convince Rob that
"once you go fat, you'll never go back."
We also think that ghetto booties
should be "in".

Have you people never
heard of Sir-Mix-A-Lot?!
He is a wise wise man.

Our struggle with the
devil scale (same difference)
is one of the things that
brought us closer together...
after Rob and Twilight, of course.

We both have similar
goals right now.

Mainly, we just want to be healthier versions of ourselves.  I don't think either of us have unrealistic dreams of being runway ready or anything like that.

We pretty much just want to be comfortable naked in our own skin and ward off any health problems that could creep up as we get old mature.

You know, as we transition from puma to cougar.

We're making it really easy this week.
Just tell us what your IRWTSMN™ goals are!

Always consider this question what IRWTSMN™?
