IRWTSMN - Check Up

Hello, Lovelies!

How was your weekend?  Ours were busy, as usual.  The next week or so will probably be hit-or-miss for us.  With the holidays coming around, our blogging will be sporadic, but we will try to check in and post as often as we can.  For those of you who won a giveaway in the past few weeks, your goods should be delivered (except for rpfangirl - going in the mail today!).  Please let us know that you got your stuff.  I sent everything via Fed-Ex, so I can track any shipment.

How is everybody doing with the IRWTSMN diet?  I know holidays are the hardest.  For me, the downward spiral starts about Halloween and it finally ends around New Year's night.  That's when I make my NEW resolution that I "won't be this fat this time next year...blah, blah, blah."  Well, I'm going to try to not do too much damage this year.  It's just that much more that I'll have to take off and this is too much work to add any unwanted pounds.

Here's are my tips for the holidays:
  1. *Fill your plate with healthy options and just take a small portion of the more fattening dishes.
  2. *Wear tighter fitting clothes, so that you won't feel like you can stuff yourself...leave that for the turkey.
  3. *Spend more time visiting with family than eating food.
  4. *And always, always remember...what IF ROB WERE TO SEE ME NAKED??
  5. *AND NEVER leave home without these..

I can't stress the water thing enough.. a trick I use is if I think I want to eat something.. but I know I just ate something.. I will down a glass of water... fills you up... gives you the time you need to forget about that extra cookie you thought you wanted and you get extra steps in for all the bathroom trips.. BONUS!

I'm not doing so good on my diet but I have to change my ways and what better time to start than at the holidays where I have to be extra vigilant and conscious of the decisions I make.

First, I want to let you know that my beautiful Edward picture arrived today and I LOVE it!!!! THANK YOU!!!!

IRWTSMN - well....I haven't really lost any weight, but on the glass is half full side, I haven't gained any either. I did get my treadmill fixed and have been trying to get on it at least every other day or so. I'm even trying to get some running in on there. I tried the Couch to 5K last spring and hated running outside and having to work the stupid stopwatch at the same time. Now that I have an iPhone, I'm going to download the Couch to 5K app and give it a try on the treadmill. So I feel pretty good about that. Hope everyone else is finding a little something (or BIG something) that they can be proud of. :)

lovely inspiration to stay away from the christmas goodies.

My trick is to not buy any chocolates, candies...etc... That stuff is not coming into my house, unless someone else buys it for me, and then it's fair game.

I am glad to hear you are well. I have missed you ladies. IRWTSMN is good for me so far. I just make sure to offset my eating by having a light breakfast on Turkey day so that I can indulge a little more than usual for my dinner but with all my tummy issues, I can't overeat anymore as it is.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I am thankful for you both :)

Yay! there you guys are!

I hear ya on the spiral starting at Halloween--it's not the ghosts and witches that are evil, it's all that chocolate hanging around.

Then the holidays...oh and throw in an Eclipse party, right?

Another good reason to be a vampire--you never heard Rosalie saying, "I'm depriving myself of mountain lion, it's way too high in calories."
