Are You in Love Again?

I'm sure by now you have all watched your Eclipse DVD about 20 times.  Guess what?  I haven't watched mine once.  That's right.  I've been in a Twi-Slump.  I can't seem to get excited.  What's happened to me?  This has got to be the worst kind of depression.  When you can't even get excited to see His Hotness.  What's the cure to this ailment?  Please tell me it's watching Eclipse again.

I got a call from a good friend yesterday.  She can't eat, can't sleep, has butterfiles all over again because she is totally in love with Edward.  Le sigh.  I remember those days.  Please someone help me.  Tell me how to get over this slump.

How did Eclipse affect you?  Is is the dose of Twi I need to get over this hideous disease?  Please tell me yes.

Have you ever been in a Twi-Slump?
 How did you cure it?
Xoxo,

Trix

Oh my gosh, I am so glad I read this! I JUST opened my Eclipse tonight and not because I was super excited to watch it but because I figured "everyone else has watched the Rob/KStew commentary, I should too I guess". I don't know what it is but I feel the same way. So if you figure out how to get excited, let me know.

Maybe just watch it over and over again? Or re-read the book?

PS- I just read on your blog that you had a Mockingjay reading group a while back. SO sad I wasn't up to date then because I'm just now reading it. Checked out one of the blog posts and totes spoiler alerted myself. But can't wait to read them when I'm done! :)

Oh no not the dreaded Twislump!!!

I haven't been though one yet, thank god.

As a Twilight doctor (fully accredited through WebMD) I am writing you a Rx for some Vitamin R (which can be substituted with Vitamin C as a generic version, if the former is not available in your area), some Robwardp0rn, and a viewing of at least Twilight, New Moon or Eclipse (with or without commentary).

If you experience any side effects IE: butterflies in the stomach, heart palpitations, frequent word vomit that includes phrases like "Die Bella" or "Take your shirt of Edward". Don't be alarmed they are normal side effects.

Good luck getting over the slump. Some good Robporn should really do the trick.

You are not the only one! While I am not afflicted with this problem, I keep hearing of my Twi-besties who are! Good luck, may Edward be with you....

Trix, I totally hear you! I also haven't watched it yet, which is rather shocking. I believe I'm going thru withdrawal! I think it's been 2 months since I watched a twilight movie! :(

I'm still totes in love with Edward and Twilight (and Rob!), but watching isn't a priority when rl is so busy (gah-my priorities are just out of whack!). I wish I could devote more time to it all, but for now I'll have to settle for blogging (note to self: must make time) and Robp0rn, and I'll fit the movies back in when I can.

No TwiSlump but I haven't watched my DVD yet either. I didn't know there were time limits :) I am sure all will be well. Perhaps it is coming down from the TwiConvention you went to. It can be overwhelming and maybe you just need to process it. When I got home from Forks, I was so depressed it was very hard to do things. But I am all better now.

Part of that, of course, was that I know own a gorgeous picture of Carlisle signed by Peter Facinelli that Living with Edward won from your website!!! WOO HOO!!! It is gorgeous. The pic of it is in my most recent post :)

Time heals and we are always here if you need us :) Hugs

I always deal better with a Twi-slump then when my Rob MoJo starts to slip... I hate when that happens... and I know it happens to the best of us...

Eclipse... well I wrote all about my experience of watching the dvd over on mt blog.. so I won't repeat here.. but I will say.. I love EclipseWard.. his beauty is just beyond.. Rob is Edward in this movie.. so it did help a little.. however.. I have only watched it once.. and I haven't watched the commentary version.. however.. I will probably do that this weekend when I have the house to myself on Saturday.. if you arein the CT, MA, NY area.. all are welcome to join!! 60" screenward... it helps :)

I hear ya. Personally I think it is because Rob has learned to hide very well.

I watched it once with my husband. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Honestly, I'm ready for some Breaking Dawn.
