How Are You Wasting The Time Away

My excitement has reached a fever pitch.  How about you?  I'm trying to keep myself busy, but it's not working very well.  In 24 hours I will have scene it.  My absolute favorite book, my absolute favorite Edward and Bella moments, my absolute favorite everything.  I've spent a huge amount of time worrying about my outfit, painting my nails, and anything else I can do to keep my mind busy.  So, instead of obsessing about the movie today, we will concentrate on Kristen's new do!  Gives us something to talk about.  What do you think of the new color?

I personally love it!  I think it illuminates her face and makes her eyes smolder.  You can actually see how pretty her eyes are now. I saw Kristen once in person and she is truly beautiful and her skin is absolutely flawless.  I think this new hair color really enhances her perfect complexion.  I would love to see the hair unpinned to see if it is the same length or a little shorter.  Time will tell.

So what do you think of the new do?  How are you passing away the time today or this week until you make it to see Eclipse?

Xoxo,

Trix

P.S. The WFE reading group starts one week from today!

The Day Before

Today I just want to try to express how freakin' excited I am that tomorrow is THE day...well, technically at 12:01 on Wednesday...but let's not be technical.

I feel like I'm about to
with excitement.

I really don't know how to put it into words to relay to you how beside myself I am right now.  Eclipse is my favorite book in the Saga (you might hear me say this again when BD comes around...but for now I'm being completely honest...it IS my favorite book in the Saga...at this moment.  No, seriously.  It's my favorite book. Yeah, I'm gonna stick with that.  It's my fav.)  There are so many fantastic things that happen in this book...here are a few things that I'll be looking for while I'm watching Eclipse at 12:01 CST...

*The leg hitch (#1 for sure)
*The tent scene...and I want it to be just like Stephenie wrote it.  No funny business.
*I can't wait to see where the song Chop and Change from the soundtrack fits into the movie.  I'm thinking it's a Bree Tanner moment.  Not sure.  We'll see!
*I'm actually really excited to see where all of the songs from the soundtrack fit into the movie.  I already love it so much.  I definitely know that Neutron Star Collision will be an Edward and Bella moment. Probably at the end of the movie.  That's my guess.
*I can't wait to meet Seth!  I think Booboo is going to be a great Seth.  His character in the books is one of my favorites.  I just love him so much.
*LOTS of Edward.
*The campfire scene.

That's the short list.

What are you looking forward to the most?

We Need A Medic Over Here!

Did you bring your oxygen tank along for the read?
Please excuse the picture spam.
I didn't know any other way to post about the Premiere other than SHOWING you all the HOTTness!
It just doesn't do justice to say that Rob looked AMAZING...
you've got to see for yourself...
His HOTTness.
Hello, Jaw Porn!  Come to mama!
Why does he have to look at me like that?!
THEM...RPattz and KStew.
The Trifecta.
*begin British accent*"You say what?  Oh, you think I'm delicious?  Oh, really." *end British accent*

You've gotta catch this vid.  Great interviews from the Red Carpet!

QUIT MISQUOTING HIM....it's SO annoying!!!  And YOU are so adorable, Mr. Pattinson!  Taylor is so cute, it's ridiculous!  I love how relaxed KStew is!  She is so great when she isn't a bundle of nerves.  LOVE Steph Meyer.  Love her!  WOOT!  Everyone looked so gorgeous...they really are such beautiful people.  Wish I would have been in Tent City for the last few days and been there for the red carpet.

I know, sounds a bit crazy to wish you were sleeping on concrete and surrounded by a bunch of strangers...who haven't showered, but I REALLY REALLY wish I could have been there!  Thanks to MTV for giving good coverage!

I stole these pics from Robsessed who gave credit to  Robert Pattinson Source and EverGlow :), just so you know.

Oh, and one more thing...5 days! Well, technically for us CST peeps...4 days, 14 hours, and 35 minutes...but who's counting!  No, seriously...who's counting?  Are you with me?!

Critical Information

There is something that has been pressing on our minds.
What we are about to ask holds much weight.
So, we need you to be completely honest.
It is very important and something we must know before June 29th at 12:01
...are you
Team Edward

 Team Jacob

Team Switzerland

or the increasingly popular Team Charlie?
Do you fear the stache?

We feel like we already know this information about the majority of our readers, but we don't want to leave anything assumed.

So, ROLL CALL...let us know if you're Team (I want the rock hard, ice cold vamp) Edward, Team (I want the smoldering hott wolf) Jacob, Team (can't make up your mind) Switzerland, or Team (I could be Edward/Jacob's mother) Charlie!  Also, we want to know how you will be spending your evening on the night of June 29th...are you seeing Eclipse at 12:01 or are you seeing it the next day...or are you one of the less fortunate who have to wait until the weekend?  Tell us your plans!

Trixie and Tess for President!

Actual conversation that occurred between Trixie and Tess:

Trixie:  Tess, do you ever feel like some days that if we really set our minds to it we could rule the world?  I mean, we are mom's, we work full-time, we run this blog that at least 2 people read.  We get a lot accomplished!

Tess:  We totally could!  Trixie and Tess for President!

Trixie:  You know, if we were the President we could summon Rob to the White House for a booty call under the ruse of an international crisis.  I don't think he could refuse the President.

Tess:  That's it!  We are starting our political campaigns tomorrow.  Trixie and Tess in 2012!

Would anyone like to be our campaign manager?  There will be perks.

Mr. Pattinson, the PresidentS will see you now.

Remember...

Remember Me is out on DVD TODAY!!!

Just one more little piece of Rob we can have at our disposal...er...I mean, our viewing pleasure. I LOVE the movie and what I love even more is Rob's performance in the movie. I can't wait to be able to watch it anytime I want. I'm building a large enough library of Rob-related movies...I could have a Robapalooza of my very own...ALL Rob ALL day!! Sounds like pure bliss!

Also, SET THE DVRs!  The cast of Eclipse will be on Jimmy Kimmel Live tomorrow night!

How the heck did Jimmy get so lucky?  I guess I don't really care...as long as we get to see...

Kristen's love stare...do you see the way she looks at HIM?
HIS sexy self...

and the rest of the beautiful cast...

it's all good.

8 DAYS until THE DAY!!!!  WOOT!!

Now that I'm officially late for work...is Twilight a good excuse for being late? - Tess

Dangrdafne informed us this morning that there is a  coupon for
$8 off Remember Me
(CLICK HERE FOR COUPON)and @Mama_Cougar of http://mamacougar.blogspot.com/ tweeted that we should all take the $8 we save and donate it to Fandom Gives Back (FGB).
Dangrdafne said "I told her I was on board and last night Twitarded posted that they were starting a FGB team for Myg's Osa Bella story. I highly recommend we all do this, if we can afford to.  http://twitarded.blogspot.com/2010/06/team-osa-bella-will-kick-your-ass.html It is a great cause and as a team we can help conquer cancer."

Trixie and I could not agree more with this and that is why we are passing this information on to our readers. Please follow the links and give what you can!

Jenny Kate's Eclipse Party Tips - Part 2

Less than 2 weeks 'til par-tay time!  Yeah, that's right, I just spelled party "par-TAY".  That's just a little way for me to express how excited I am about this little shindig happening in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS!!!

Let's pick up where we left off last week, shall we?

FOOD.  The food can really be a fun way to keep your theme alive and draw your guests in to your party fantasy.  We decided on serving hot dogs.  It's not the most gourmet thing to serve, but it falls right into the "Fire" part of our theme...Bella eats hot dogs with Jacob at the bonfire...and Jacob is a HOTT dog...get it...HOTT dog.  LOL.  Ok, excuse my lame humor.  Anyhoo, we are having a hot dog bar in our "Fire" room.  We're serving Hebrew National Hot Dogs ('cause they're the best) and we're going to have all the different types of things to put on hot dogs...relish, chili, cheese, peppers, onions, sauerkraut, etc.  In our "Ice" room, we're going to set up our drink bar.  We're still working on having a shaved ice machine, but we know for sure that we are serving pomegranate martinis and Black Swan wine (Isn't that the most perfect name for a Twilight wine?!).  We had the Black Swan wine for our New Moon party and we loved it.  It's a good cheap wine.  For dessert, we are having some a custom Eclipse cake from a local cakery...chocolate with raspberry filling.  Other ideas for desserts are cupcakes with bite marks or claw marks, cookies with black icing and a red ribbon on the top, and Twizzlers/red vines are always good!

Our drink of choice - Oprah's pomegranate martini recipe (click for recipe)

SWAG BAGS.  I've always wanted to go to one of those big fancy celebrity events where the swag bags are worth thousands of dollars, so this is my way of living out my fantasy...on a much smaller scale of course. LOL.  Our bags for Eclipse are going to include:

  • *an embroidered tote bag with the Eclipse logo
  • *a handmade Bella bracelet
  • *a Fire and Ice bookmark
  • *a set of magnets
  • *a hand-picked CD w/ "hot" and "cold" songs
  • *Eclipse gum
  • *and possibly a copy of Wuthering Heights.

PARTY GAMES.  Every good party has them...don't be a fuddy-duddy...have some games!  I like to play games that allow my guest to continue to mingle, drink, eat...whatever.  So, we are going to play a quote game where our guests have to match up the quote to the person who said it.  Since the eyes are so important in the Twilight Saga, we're also going to play a match game with pictures of eyes...matching the eye to the character.  For New Moon, we played a pin the kiss on Edward and Jacob game.  It was a hit and so much fun!  We're going to do a new modified version of Pin the Kiss.  We are also going to play "What's In Your Future".  It's a numerology game...I think it's brings in a touch of Alice...I love Alice!

One of my favorite places to get awesome printable games is Twimom on Etsy.  She has a whole PDF file that is instantly yours for the small price of $8!  In the PDF file you will find party ideas, printable games, printable labels, printable invitations...possibilities are endless!
(Click HERE to go to Twimom's Etsy store)

You MUST have some prizes, even if it's a candy bar or bookmark.  Here's some ideas for you...things we're giving as prizes:

  • *a Bree Tanner book
  • *Eclipse cups
  • *Eclipse stickers
  • *Eclipse magnets
  • *Eclipse posters

A few extra ideas to make your party OFF THE HOOK:

  • *play the Eclipse soundtrack for background music
  • *set up a TV and play Twilight and New Moon prior to viewing Eclipse
  • *get the new Eclipse board game and set it up for guests to play
  • *have some trivia questions on hand for any down time
  • *set up a photo op spot
  • *roll out a red carpet for your guests
  • *have a fortune teller
  • *twinkle lights
  • *print out quotes from the book and frame them and set them around the room - my favorite   place to find FABULOUS printable quotes is The Hostess With The Mostess Blog - she has just announced that her Eclipse printables are coming soon!! Thank you, Hostess with the Mostess...you read my mind!  (click HERE to go to her blog)

If you have any questions for me, just e-mail me at jennykate77@yahoo.com!

Thanks again to Trixie and Tess for letting me take over the blog!!  I'll be back to share Eclipse Party Pics!

Rob on Jay Leno

Rob was on Jay Leno last night and he looked quite dapper (which translates smokin' HOTT in our world) in his taupe colored suite and skinny black tie.

The short hair is growing on me and I can never get enough of listening to his smooth British accent.  It melts my butter.  Listening to him talk is enough, but then put the visual with it and it sends me over the top.  Last night he was oh-so-funny and down-to-earth.

His laugh is fantastic.

Jay asked some great questions and got Rob talking about other roles and his parents, who were in the audience.  They are adorable, by the way.  He says his dad sends him e-mails about how to impress women and other fatherly advice.  SO CUTE!  Love Dick and Clare!

I would like to comment on his conversation with Jay (in the vid below) about his NUDE scene in Bel Ami.  I feel like I should send a personal thank you note to everyone involved with the making of this movie and especially to the person who cast Rob as Georges.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.  Seriously, from the bottom of my beating heart (until Edward decides to change me)...thank you.

Side note:  I forget sometimes how "real" Rob is and that he has parents and siblings and leads a real-honest-to-goodness life.  Interviews like this remind me of that fact and I love them for it.

This morning, I was thinking, "I wonder what Rob is doing...is he awake yet...what's on his agenda for the day...is he having Cinnamon Toast Crunch for breakfast?"

One more video clip and then I'll close this hott rambling mess.

Anybody want to start a We Hate Emma Roberts Fan Club?

Don't miss Rob's next interview on Jimmy Kimmel on June 23rd, the day before the LA Premiere!

I can't close this post without mentioning that Eclipse will be here in 2 (TWO...T-W-O) weeks...14 days from today!  How excited are you?  I'm so flippin' excited.  I'm about to pee my pants.

Edward Does A Body Good

We noticed yesterday that the Eclipse water bottles have been released!

Tess and I bought these last year when the New Moon ones were out.  For a mere $9.99 you to can put Edward close to your lips every day, over and over and over again.  Alright, I have been known to just blatantly kiss my New Moon one.  It is amazing how much our water consumption increased due to Edward last year.   See you need one!  Edward does a body good!

Oh yeah, you can get Team Jacob and Team Bella ones too.  Seriously, is any one Team Bella?  Really, I want to know.

To get one go here.  On another note did anyone see Rob's Nightline interview last night?

Yes, I know this isn't Nightline, it's from the Jimmy Kimmel taping.  I couldn't find a still of the Nightline interview.

Rob was absolutely adorable during the Nightline interview.  He looks amazing, and was very candid and honest.  It made me remember all the reasons that I love him.  If you guys haven't scene the vids Robsessed has all of them for your viewing pleasure.  I highly suggest you hop over there and check them out.

Have an amazing day!

Love,

Jenny Kate's Eclipse Party Tips - Part 1

Hello!  My name is Jenny Kate!  First of all, I would like to thank Trixie and Tess for allowing me to take over TNT today! Thanks girls!!  You rock!

Now, let's get down to business!  Last year, I did a series of posts on my blog, Jenny Kate's Spot, where I went through each step of planning my New Moon Premiere Party.

If you're interested, you can check out those posts by clicking HERE.  Some of those ideas are still relevant for an Eclipse Party.

Trixie and Tess asked me if I would come over here and share some of my ideas for Eclipse.  I thought it would be a good break for all of my non-twilight-lovers on my blog. (*gasp*)  I know!  Who knew those people even existed!

The easiest way I know to share my ideas is by telling you guys what I am doing for my Eclipse Party.  My cousin Allison and I are planning this party together, so any time I say "we", that is who I'm referring to.

First things first, we set a theme for our party.  We had several ideas running through our heads.  We had talked about throwing a graduation party, like Alice threw for Bella, but that left out a few elements we wanted to include (like the wolf pack), but it would be a great theme for an Eclipse party.  The New Moon party I threw last year was a "Fangs or Fur" party.  That would still be a legit theme for an Eclipse Party. The theme we picked for our party is "Fire and Ice".  There are tons of great ideas.  So, just pick something and stick with it.  It helps to give your party continuity.

Invitations really set the mood for your party.  We went through several ideas.  We had thought about creating our own, something that possibly worked in the Fire and Ice poem by Robert Frost.  In the end, we decided that we wanted to throw in a little Alice into our party, so we went with a graduation party invite.

RSVP to Alice Cullen, of course!

Location is huge.  You have to know what area you're looking at before you decide on decorations.  Since we are throwing a premiere party, we are having our pre and post party at a hotel.  It's a nice choice with a blank slate.

You may choose your home or a friends house or even a restaurant would be a good choice.

Decorations are my favorite part of throwing a party!  Here is an inspiration board for our party, so you can get an idea about what I'm talking about.

We have had sooooo much fun deciding on the decor. Although, being at a hotel does limit us somewhat, it is still tons of fun!  We have two hotel rooms.  We requested joining king suites.  This is what I did for the New Moon Premiere party and it worked out great!  We are making one room our "Fire" Room and one our "Ice" Room.
In the Fire Room, we are using lots of red...red tablecloths, red paper lanterns, twinkle lights, a La Push sign for the door...and we'll incorporate several wolf pack pictures, framed quotes, and odds-and-ends.
In the Ice Room, we are using silver...silver tablecloths, silver paper lanterns, twinkle lights, and a Forks sign on our door.  We will also have lots of Cullen stuff, like framed quotes and pictures...anything that says "ice".  Last year I hung up New Moon posters over the pre-hung pictures on the hotel walls.  I'll probably do the same this time.

Of course, our party wouldn't be complete without a life size Edward and Jacob there to greet our guests and our piece de la resistance a tent pitched in the middle of the "Ice" room.  We plan on putting a little lantern outside of the tent, with a parka hanging from the post.  We're going to create a couple different photo ops.  To add to the ambiance, we thought we would up the A/C in the "Ice" room and turn up the heat in the "Fire" room.

Sound fun?  I haven't told the whole story.  I have blog readers who might venture over here that are invited to the party and I want to keep a couple elements of surprise!  Do you have plans for an Eclipse Party at some point...premiere party, movie party, DVD release party?  Any ideas you would like to add?  Tell me in the comments section or e-mail me at jennykate77@yahoo.com!  I would love to hear it all!

I'll be back next Friday with the details on the food, party games, swag bags, and links to some of my go-to party planning sites!

WFE Reading Group

So I have to confess that I started reading WFE to prepare for the reading group and I couldn't put it down.  I came to the conclusion that I really love the book (sometimes it takes me a while to decide how I feel about things)!  I am so excited to discuss it with you girls.  I loved it and I think Robert is the perfect fit for  Jacob Jankowski.  Although it really messes with my head that his characters name is Jacob.  So, because Tess and I are so excited to start this reading group, we are going to hold the WFE book giveaway open for another week.  Here is the kicker, if we can get over 20 people to join the group we will give a second copy of WFE away for free!

No one should miss out on this hotness...

...it makes the reading so much more fun!  If you have already joined the reading group from our previous post you don't need to enter again, but feel free to leave all the comments you would like.  If you haven't joined, simply leave a comment on this post.  We will announce the book winners next Thursday!

On another note,  we are so excited that we have teamed up with the ultimate party planner, Jenny Kate, from JennyKate's Spot!  She has willingly agreed to share her preemo Eclipse party planning tips with us tomorrow.  Be sure to tune in!  She is definitely the Hostess with the Mostest!

Love,

A Giveaway and The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner Review

So, have we all bought and read Bree Tanner?!

Trix and I went out and purchased it at midnight Friday night and before the weekend was up, we both had it read cover to cover like any good Twi-hard would do.

Here is my date for the night, Fancy Pocket Edward.  I thought about taking Casual Eddie, but Fancy Eddie seemed much more appropriate.  He was cooling down my Seattle's Best for me.  Which I thought was quite appropriate...Seattle's Best and WE were waiting for Bree Tanner...a bad vamp who belongs to a bad vamp army, who does most of their killing IN Seattle.

That is my brain on Twilight.

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner is an Eclipse novella by Stephenie Meyer.  It is based on the life of a 15/16 year old girl named, Bree (duh!).  She is party of Victoria's army of bad vamps.  Their sole purpose for being created is to fight against the Cullens.  Through this book, Stephenie gives us an insight into the lives (both lives...mortal and immortal) of a few of the bad vampires.  It helps us to see where they have come from and what their lives are like.  As I was reading the book, I started to create a bond with Bree.  I like her.  Stephenie is wonderful at weaving a love story into all of her books and she did not fail us here.  It had all of the essential Stephenie Meyer ingredients...danger, suspense, love, and a great story line.  It left me wanting more.  I have a "thirst" for more vampire material.

COME ON, Steph!  We need more!
We are Twi-fans, hear our cry!

Does she not understand what she's doing to us?  I'm generally a pretty patient person, but this is beyond human restraints.  Does she remember that she is dealing with mere mortals here?!  I guess I will just re-read Eclipse for now.  I think it will be fun to re-read it with this fresh, new perspective of Victoria's army.

You know how we love a good giveaway here at TNT!
So, we'll be giving away a copy of
The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner!
All you need to do is be a follower and leave a comment on this post.
The giveaway will end on Friday at midnight.  We'll announce the winner over the weekend!
Good luck!!

Tess♥

MTV Awards and New Eclipse Stills

I suppose by now that you have all had time to watch the MTV Movie Awards.  Besides the 122 F-Bombs that were dropped, I loved the show!   I just kept thinking about all the little kids in the audience and I just couldn't relax and watch it.  Okay, there were also lots of weird moments like Les and J. Lo, but we are taking that with a grain of salt because the title of the show might as well have been the MTV Twilight Movie Awards.  The Twilight Saga and its cast swept all the categories that they were nominated in.  It has been reported that people are just now realizing the dedication of the fans.  Really?  Where have you people been?  What has become even more plainly evident is that Rob and Kristen can barely keep their hands off each other.

There were a lot of stolen glances, subtle and non-subtle touching, and the look on Rob's face when Kristen won said it all.  He is so proud of her.  The disturbing part is that it still seems to me that Rob is way more into Kristen than she is in to Rob.  She is such a crazy little biotch girl.  If that man loved me, I would scream it from the rooftops!

My favorite part of the night was the Bad Ass Cops.  That is a movie I would pay to see over and over.  Only Rob could make a blond handlebar moustache sexy again.  Taylor doesn't look half bad either.  I think he must be standing on about 2 phone books in this pic instead of the usual 4.

Then last night new ECLIPSE movie stills were released!

Oh, Edward.  I hope I can make it 21 more days.   You are looking extraordinarily lovely.

Why are these kids always hanging out in the parking lot?  My high school had a gang of parking school kids too.  They were never up to any good. Maybe that is why Jessica always has her boobs hanging out.

WTH?  You know how I feel about the Victoria change.  Why do all the other vamps in Eclipse have current clothing and Victoria is still wearing the clothes she stole from Paul Revere?  I think she stole his wig too.

Jasper and Alice look adorable.  I'm excited to see more of their relationship in this film.  I am choosing to ignore their wigs in this one.

So, what did you think of the awards?  Do California Gurls really wear Daisy Dukes and bikinis on top?  Do the new Eclipse stills make you more or less excited to see the movie?

Love,

Trix
