Just Checking In and A Giveaway

Just checking in.  We're still here. 

Did you guys hear that Rob is going to get a body double?  The article I read said that he has been consistently stalked by four Japanese girls and that they are constantly "telling him they want to do ruse, saucy things to him..."  

Hmmmm?  I wonder who he'll get for his body double?  I can't imagine anybody else being THAT hott.  I'm pretty sure God only allows one Rob Pattinson at a time.

How was every one's Christmas? Hope you all had wonderful times with your family and loved ones. Ours were great! Not long enough though. Trixie and I were both wishing for more time...Christmas just went by too fast!

I did get loaded up on Twi-gear. 

My husband asked me if I am 16. 

I told him "no, 17". 

Then he asked, "how long have you been 17?" 

I said, "a while".

Gotta love a Twilight Christmas.

How has your IRWTSMN diet going over the holidays?

I don't know about you, but I'm actually ready to get back into the swing of things.  I love the holidays.  Christmas is my favorite time of the year.  But after all of the festivities are over, it feels good to get things back to normal and get back to a routine.  I'm hoping I haven't done too much damage in the last couple of weeks, but I haven't stepped on a scale in over a month. 

I'll take the plunge next week.

I am cleaning out my Twi-closet.  So, we're going to be giving away an assortment of Twilight related goods.  I have several "extras" of things.  From time to time, I've been known to go a bit overboard while buying Twi-memorabilia.  I know.  Your shocked.

I know you're probably thinking that we forgot how to log into Blogger...or perhaps we ran away with Rob and didn't tell you guys.  Truth is that we are just SWAMPED with real life.  Anybody else?

Christmas is in full force around here, and you girls know what that means...parties, gift buying, get-togethers, meals to cook, things to bake, places to go, people to see, being driven to drinking...sadly...and when I say "sadly", I mean UBER sadness here, that means that blogging gets pushed to the back burner. 

Hopefully, everything will be back to normal in a couple of weeks.  We'll be back to blogging about Rob, having his babies, wondering what if Rob were to see us naked, and our regular Twihard agenda.

OMG Moment #1 - Recently there has been a Twihard Twitter Movement.  kiTT from Tongue Twied recently started her very own revolution by getting everyone to tweet a shirtless picture of Kellan

with the hashtag #takeitoffkellan.  It was even noticed by online gossip magazine, Access Hollywood, and mentioned in this article!  How flippin' cool is that?!

YA Book Giveaway

I've got a serious case of the blahs today.  I've been sick all week.  It peaked yesterday with lots of disgusting symptoms that I won't discuss.  I love winter, but I hate the sickies it brings with it.

I don't really have much to say today, so I thought I would do a giveaway.

Are You in Love Again?

I'm sure by now you have all watched your Eclipse DVD about 20 times.  Guess what?  I haven't watched mine once.  That's right.  I've been in a Twi-Slump.  I can't seem to get excited.  What's happened to me?  This has got to be the worst kind of depression.  When you can't even get excited to see His Hotness.  What's the cure to this ailment?  Please tell me it's watching Eclipse again.



I got a call from a good friend yesterday.  She can't eat, can't sleep, has butterfiles all over again because she is totally in love with Edward.  Le sigh.  I remember those days.  Please someone help me.  Tell me how to get over this slump.

How did Eclipse affect you?  Is is the dose of Twi I need to get over this hideous disease?  Please tell me yes.

Pocket Edward Post in Pictures

These are the adventures of Pocket Edward from the Dallas Twilight Convention. Some photographs have been left out to protect the innocent...or guilty...whichever.

Edward, though he does not need food nor drink, has a great sense of smell.  He can smell a fine wine from a mile away.  He approved this glass...and many more after that.

He was often found hanging out in a pocket.  Hence the name, Pocket Edward.

Something I found out over the weekend is that Pocket Edward and Rob have a lot in common.  Such as their taste in beer.

Here he was demonstrating his mad skillz in tipping over trees.

We also took a little time out to reenact Bella's birthday, sans paper cut.

He can really cut a rug.

He met a fellow fun-size Edward.

Together they confronted the wolf in the room.

It was a fun time had by all.

He gave a little 'tude when I said it was time to go.

I had to pull him off the walls...

We spent the rest of the evening lying in the meadow...er...the lobby. 

I'm surprised hotel security wasn't called. 

I think they're a little lax when the Twihards are in town.

Dearest Rob,

We know you're going to be extra busy this year what with filming Breaking Dawn and having beach sex with KStew, so we wanted to get our wish list in early...

All we want for Christmas is you.  Just so you know...in advance.  So, we'll be expecting you standing on our front porch wrapped up nicely in a big red bow (red is our favorite color).

Besides Rob and world peace, what are you wanting for Christmas this year?

#SUMMITFAIL - Eclipse DVD Release

Today on Twitter, we've been discussing the HUGE fail that is Summit.  Where is all of the Eclipse DVD hype?!  WTH, Summit? 

For the past two years, I have attended at least one DVD release party...sometimes TWO.  Usually, Barnes and Noble, Borders, Hot Topic, Wal-Mart, and Hastings always have a DVD release party for the newest Twilight movie.  This year, the only DVD release parties I can find are at Wal-Mart and a few at Hastings.  I normally despise Wal-Mart, but I'm totally loving them right now, because if it weren't for them there would be no where to go get an Eclipse DVD at midnight.  If you're looking for a DVD release party, you can go to http://www.eclipsethemovie.com/ and they have a place where you can plug in your zip code and they'll show you all the local stores that are hosting them. 

I think we have to blame Summit for this.  They should be doing better marketing for the movie.  I realize they're all busy with the filming of Breaking Dawn, but what about us?  What about the fans that keep this franchise going?  We want a little excitement for the freaking Eclipse DVD release!  I was hoping for some star appearances like they did last year for New Moon.  I mean surely EVERYONE isn't busy.  I guess they've just spoiled us with all the hoopla in the past.

Here are my plans...go to Wal-Mart and get my copy at 12:01 and enjoy a little festivities, because it just wouldn't seem right without it, and then buy the Deluxe Edition at Target the next day. 

I've been buying the Borders Deluxe Edition and I've read that Target is now carrying that particular version.

So, where are you buying your Eclipse DVD? What version are you buying?

I know some of you are having DVD parties...I want to hear all about it!  I need to live vicariously through you.  I think I'll just have my own little party by myself.  I have a whole box of stuff left over from the premiere party...it's an Eclipse party just waiting to happen!
